What is 'something'? What is 'say'? What is 'clearly'? What is 'can'? I'd prefer some subtlety also.

ReplyDeleteSomething: that it's not just stylistic egoistic masturbation;
Say: speak, write, yell, cry, voice;
clearly: opposite of unclearly?;
can: to the best of your ability
But fair enough about the subtlety. Could do with some of that some of the time. But not always. Sometimes you just want the big crash, the big boom, the big kiss. How subtle is Dickens??
Sometimes very. 'Big' is such a relative term.
